Familial trigeminal neuralgia: a case series

Trigeminal neuralgia is a fairly rare disease manifested by acute paroxysmal pain of the type electric shock in innervation zone one or more branches trigeminal nerve. usually sporadic, but familial cases have also been described. The study can help understanding causes and mechanisms development neuralgia. We present series 4 families which 2 family members generation suffered from neuralgia, all patients underwent surgical treatment our center. objective. Materials methods.
